A first for HeadHunter, Chris Koeppel successfully bred Rhinchophis boulengeri! 9 eggs cooking in the incubator as we speak. We are keeping our fingers crossed that in 55 days we will see little green/blue horns poking out of eggs.

Looking Gorgeous as always, Nightshade is coiled up around a clutch of 10 perfect eggs. She was paired up with another Highlighter jungle this year, Rigid, cant wait to see the results!

Voodoo and Rigid did it again! Great looking clutch of 19 eggs no slugs. This is a repeat pairing from last year. We have tried a couple different sires with Voodoo to try to achieve the best Jungle Jags we can, and by the looks of last years babies this one is the ticket!

The first of the 2012 Jungle Jags shed today, we did a new pairing this year. We introduced Rigid into our projects for the first time. Rigid is an 06 male Jungle from Andrew Hare and his famous Highlighter line. Should bring an intense yellow coloration when mixed with our female jaguar Voodoo! Cant wait to watch them color up!

We did a joint breeding with Jason Baylin of East Coast Serpents, Breeding Brinkley our top female Jungle to his outstanding male Zebra! Well the eggs are hatching, we are so excited to see these little snakes, gonna kick the looks of the zebra morph up a notch! Pictures coming soon……stay tuned.

In the past we have made some great babies mixing the red and the orange when breeding Brazilian Rainbow Boas. Here is an updated picture of Skipper and Ginger this years proud parents. Ginger is the red and Skipper is the orange, and as you can see they had a great litter of rainbows that are in our available section.

We bred Bettis a 75% diamond jungle above to Voodoo our pure coastal jag below.
Voodoo layed 15 fertile eggs on Febraury 3rd. Here is hoping for a nice heathly clutch of diamond jungle jags!
We also have eggs on the ground from Mekaare or 50% diamond jungle female
we bred her to Confetti, our pure diamond male.

This years 75% Diamond Jungle clutch gave us a couple of surprises this year, two sets of twins! Although two snakes from one egg is not uncommon in the carpet world this is the first time we have ever hatched any out, pretty cool to look into the egg box and see two heads coming out of one egg.
So an 18 egg clutch yielded 20 snakes, hopefully we will have some individual pics up soon!

Our first snake of 2010 decided to show its little head today! Part of our Brinkley/Victor clutch of Jungles.
